What's the point of all this labor?
"Unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given."
Come to the tree and come to the tomb.
Surrender your labor and it becomes God's Labor.
Be born of God.

God, in His mercy, will lead you to the edge of the sea; He'll lead you to defeat to show you His victory; He'll show you your faithlessness to show you His faithfulness; He'll lead you to despair to show you His delight; He'll lead you to the end of yourself to show you the beginning of Him. It's not murder, it's birth. It's not bondage, it's liberation. It's salvation through grace--it's Jesus walking to you on the sea.
